Hi, I’m Jerico Saquing!

I remember back in 2018 when I first started freelancing. Before encountering the digital world, picture this: I was a fresh graduate with NOTHING on my name.

Looking back, I didn’t know what I wanted to do so I just applied to different bank jobs hoping to land atleast one.

But after 1, 2, and after 10 applications, I realized that no one would call me back.

And that’s how I realized the harsh reality – that unless you have connections and money, you can’t easily get any jobs especially in the Philippines.

Dejected, I browsed social media as usual. That’s where I saw a post about a freelancer bragging about how he’s working at home yet earning BIG dollars.

As I dig deep into the freelancing world, that’s when I knew that this was my ticket.

Feeling excited, I searched the internet for everything I can find about freelancing – blog post, YouTube videos and free eBooks.

I started as a content writer but the journey wasn’t easy. I had to learn everything from scratch and experience.

That’s why I started this blog (Freelancing Tech). This is my way of showing thanks to beginner freelancers all over the world.
